We live in an era where transportation solutions are urgently needed. Govt Bike Scheme worldwide increasingly turn to high-level initiatives to promote environmentally sound travel practices. Keeping this in mind, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, in the government of Pakistan, introduced a new motorcycle scheme in April 2024, which is designed for the students of Punjab. The scheme is unveiled as an ambitious bike scheme to reduce traffic congestion and promote a healthy lifestyle.

In Phase 1 of the scheme, Degree College / University students studying in the following 5 cities shall be eligible.
Eligibility Criteria
- An excellent opportunity for over 800,000 students across the province to obtain their own transport.
- Must be over 18 years of age.
- Must be a regular student of a Degree College / University, duly recognized by HEC.
- Must hold a valid motorcycle Learner’s Permit / Driving Licence.
- In case of receipt of applications in excess of allocated quotas, e-balloting shall be conducted.
Collaboration and monthly installment plan
The Bank of Punjab has contributed to the implementation of this scheme. The monthly installment plan of the scheme is also given below which can be deposited in The Punjab Bank of Punjab.
